The South African Police Service (SAPS) in the Western Cape has warned members of the public against buying medication from street vendors.

This comes after members of Operation Prosper conducted patrols and found a 38-year-old man illegally selling medication out of boxes at Nyanga Junction Transportation Hub.

It was found that some of the medication had already expired.

The suspect was arrested and did not reveal where he obtained the medication.
