Transfer deadline day LIVE: Chelsea Camara deal off, Man Utd striker snub, record £3.2bn spend

Hello and welcome to Mirror Football's transfer deadline day live blog, bringing you all of the latest news as clubs complete the mad dash to strengthen their squads.

Clubs in England and Wales have until 11pm tonight (Tuesday) to complete their business, although they are able to submit deal sheets before the deadline, which gives them an extra two hours to complete any late-night deals.

In terms of deals, what can we expect? Arsenal continue to be linked with Atletico Madrid's Julian Alvarez, although it seems that the player is keen on a move to Barcelona.

Manchester City, meanwhile, have agreed a £125million move for Chelsea's Enzo Fernandez, who is en-route to undergo a medical with the Cityzens.

Liverpool are continuing to push for Crystal Palace's Ismaila Sarr, as a potential replacement for Cody Gakpo, who looks set to join Manchester City.

Manchester United could also look to complete a deal for a new left-back to compete with Luke Shaw. The club could also sanction the exit of striker Joshua Zirkzee.
