EU hides Russia's denials of plans to attack Europe from public — diplomat

GENEVA, September 24. /TASS/. EU authorities are carefully keeping the public from hearing Moscow's repeated denials that Russia plans to attack Europe, Russian Permanent Representative to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Dmitry Polyansky said.

"Europe's accelerated militarization and preparations for war are accompanied by ever more scare stories about an allegedly inevitable Russian attack," he said at a meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council, according to the text of his statement obtained by TASS. "At the same time, ordinary Europeans never hear Russia's repeated assurances at the highest level that a war with NATO and Europe is not in our plans: all information is carefully filtered, and Russian media have long been blocked in EU countries so that nothing interferes with the brainwashing of ordinary Europeans," Polyansky noted.
