Dame Maggie Smith’s final will leaves £16m fortune and Sussex farmhouse to sons

Dame Maggie Smith left a fortune worth around £16 million to her two sons, actors Chris Larkin and Toby Stephens, following her death at 89 in September 2024.

Probate records revealed that her estate was valued at more than £16 million, while her Grade II-listed Sussex farmhouse, where she lived for four decades, was placed in a family trust.
