The Boat Aavante Prime X delivers an enjoyable home theatre experience, particularly when watching action-heavy films or playing games.

Its powerful bass and rear speakers create a convincing sense of immersion, while dialogue remains clear even when plenty is happening on screen.

Music playback is respectable too, although the overall tuning favours movies and games.

Some non-Dolby content can produce an occasional echo, and the large setup needs plenty of room.

The Boat Aavante Prime X isn't perfect, but it gets the important stuff right, and that counts for quite a bit.
