Grandparents of missing toddler Omphile Sithole back in court

The paternal grandparents of a missing two-year-old Limpopo girl are expected to appear in the Mahwelereng Magistrate’s Court near Mokopane on Thursday morning.

Vinolia Mabusela and Jacob Ledwaba face charges of child negligence following the disappearance of their granddaughter, Omphile Sithole.

The toddler went missing in May this year in the early hours while sleeping in a house with her grandmother.

Fifty-two-year-old Mabusela and 55-year-old Ledwaba were granted R1 000 bail each by the court.

She turned three years old on June 24.
