Slain NJ mom Brooke Hanlon's family backs investigators two months after her stabbing death

"Brooke was a truly beautiful soul." More than two months after New Jersey mother Brooke Hanlon, 35, was found stabbed to death inside her Chester home, her family is sharing more details about the beloved wife, daughter, sister and friend that she was, as her killing remains unsolved.

A new obituary for the slain psychotherapist says she "is survived by her beloved daughter, Avery, her sister, Paige Haggerty, her parents, Melissa and Joseph Haggerty, and her husband, James 'Conor' Hanlon." Brooke and Conor were married in June 2021 and lived in the Boston area until they moved to Chester, New Jersey in September 2023.

Before the start of her career, she graduated from Villa Walsh Academy in 2009.
