20 high-paying jobs that are projected to grow a lot over the next decade

Employment of registered nurses is projected to increase by 194,700 from 2025 to 2035.

Business Insider combined that data with pay data to rank high-paying jobs that may grow a lot.

Tech, managerial, and healthcare roles made up the top spots.

Registered nurses, data scientists, and accountants and auditors are high-paying roles that are projected to add many jobs over the next decade.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics released new job projections on Thursday, showing how hundreds of occupations may evolve between 2025 and 2035.

Employment of nurse practitioners could boom over that time, while telemarketers and order clerks could shrink .

Business Insider combined the latest projections with median annual wages from the BLS for May 2025 to rank high-paying jobs projected to grow.

We considered roles high-paying if they typically pay at least $75,000, and we didn't set a minimum for projected job growth.

We excluded catch-all job groups.

We took the geometric mean of the jobs that fit the criteria and then ranked them, with the highest mean ranked at the top.

Here are the top 20, along with their projected job growth, pay, and typical education required.
