‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ Star Nathan Gallagher Wanted on Arrest Warrant
An arrest warrant for Below Deck Mediterranean star Nathan Gallagher has been issued by Australian police after he missed a scheduled court appearance for an earlier charge.
The New South Wales Police released a photo of the reality TV personality’s mugshot on Tuesday, confirming that a warrant had been issued for his arrest. Gallagher had a court date set for Tuesday, Sept. 1, after being granted conditional bail on Dec. 28 following an arrest on domestic violence charges, per People .
Gallagher was arrested on Dec. 27 after allegedly assaulting a 29-year-old woman. He was charged with three offenses, including assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentionally choking a person without consent and common assault. On Tuesday, Rolling Stone reported that a local court cited former Below Deck Med star Gael Cameron, with whom Gallagher shares a child , as the woman allegedly assaulted by Gallagher. “Gallagher used one hand to cover the mouth and nose of Ms Cameron,” a police document stated. “Ms Cameron has tried to pull away, however Gallagher persisted and continued to cover her mouth, causing the victim to be unable to breathe at certain times.”
Rolling Stone also noted that when Cameron elbowed him in response, Gallagher allegedly “placed both of his hands around Ms Cameron’s neck, applying enough pressure which made her unable to breathe.”
“Gallagher used an open palm and struck Ms Cameron on the left side of her jaw, [which] caused pain and swelling,” the statement continues, adding that she got out of his grip, and then he “used both hands to grip the neck of Ms Cameron and, whilst applying force, lifted her up… Ms Cameron’s legs, however, were not lifted off the floor – Ms Cameron was unable to breathe during this time.”
The Hollywood Reporter reached out to reps for Bravo and Cameron for comment. Gallagher deactivated his Instagram account amid the news.
