Every Deadline Day transfer and the deals that could still happen

A remarkable summer transfer window has slammed shut after a typically frantic Deadline Day .

The biggest deal of the day - and among the biggest of the entire summer - is Enzo Fernandez’s move from Chelsea to Manchester City in a deal worth north of £120million .

The Blues, meanwhile, have not been able sign Lamine Camara as a replacement for the Argentina international after Monaco pulled out of a deal at the last minute.

Arsenal failed to add to their attack - despite interest in Julian Alvarez and Malick Fofana - but did manage to ship out plenty to fringe players, including the sales of Fabio Vieira and Gabriel Jesus on permanent transfers.

Tottenham spent the best part of half a billion, including the headline £100million signing of Sandro Tonali, and added Chelsea pair Mykhailo Mudryk and Tosin Adarabioyo to their ranks, while Kevin Danso joined Sunderland on a loan-to-buy deal.

There are a number of transfer windows still open across Europe, most notably in Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

Turkish clubs have until September 4 to conclude their business, while those in Saudi have until September 6.

Crystal Palace’s Ismaila Sarr was pushing to join Galatasaray earlier in the summer, before Liverpool tested the Eagles’ resolve with two rejected bids.

Saudi clubs are always monitoring the English market, and Chelsea’s Pedro Neto has been linked with a move to the Gulf.

However, it remains unlikely that Chelsea will sanction an exit for a first-team player without being able to sign a replacement.

Gabriel Martinelli, meanwhile, has arrived in Riyadh to complete his £60m move from Arsenal to Al-Hilal .
