Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter announce new UK dates for 2026 winter ’50 Years Of Punk’ tour

The Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter have announced a raft of new dates for their forthcoming winter ’50 Years Of Punk’ tour.

Read More: Sex Pistols’ Steve Jones tells us about Teenage Cancer Trust gigs and scrapped Alex Turner writing session Earlier this year, they announced an arena tour marking five decades since punk’s most momentous year, with 1976 seeing the original line-up play a series of legendary gigs in now mythic venues like The Marquee, The 100 Club, The Nashville and the El Paradiso strip club.

A series of headline dates kicking off at Dublin’s 3Arena on December 7 along with further dates at Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange, Glasgow’s O2 Academy, and London’s Brixton Academy and Eventim Apollo were initially announced.

Now further dates at Leeds O2 Academy, Newcastle NX, Liverpool Olympia, Birmingham O2 Academy, Portsmouth Guildhall and Bristol Prospect Building have been added to the schedule.

Tickets go on general sale this Friday (September 4) at 10am BST.

The Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter’s ‘Anarchy In The UK’ 2026 tour dates are: DECEMBER 4 – Leeds O2 Academy 5 – Newcastle NX 7 – 3Arena – Dublin 9 – Corn Exchange – Edinburgh 10 – O2 Academy – Glasgow 12 – Liverpool Olympia 14 – Birmingham O2 Academy 15 – Portsmouth Guildhall 16 – Bristol Prospect Building 18 – Brixton Academy – London 20 – Eventim Apollo – London A flurry of incendiary shows came before they recorded the seminal ‘Never Mind The Bollocks, Here the Sex Pistols were maybe best immortalised by their stop at Manchester’s Lesser Free Trade Hall.

Widely considered some of the most influential shows of all time, the two shows at the Manchester venue are credited with inspiring musicians who’d go on to be in bands including Joy Division , The Smiths and The Fall .

The band, reformed with Carter as vocalist in 2024 – initially to raise funds for London’s Bush Hall venue but have since played everywhere from Australia to Japan, making several stops at European festivals and playing a show at the Royal Albert Hall for the Teenage Cancer Trust, where Carter conjured a giant circle pit.

Guitarist Steve Jones said of the upcoming tour: “We’re having a blast – we’re like a well-oiled machine right now – and it’s been incredible to get out there with these songs we wrote 50 years ago.

We love it.

“Frank’s a great frontman and really gets the crowd going.

Every person in the audience loves these songs as much as we do and it’s an absolute pleasure to get out there and play them.” Speaking to NME previously , bassist Glen Matlock said of Carter, “He’s got a lot more energy than people of our age.

He’s in the crowd; he’s a class act.
