An ageing India, counted but not fully understood

To serve our elderly population adequately, we need to know more than simply how many people are eligible for health insurance schemes: we need to know what chronic conditions they live with, how much they spend on their health needs, and which part of the country they live in.

This does not mean another survey; it means improving existing ones to better meet the needs of an ageing India
