The Srisailam Devasthanam has invited applications from devotees for a special pilgrimage to Somnath in Gujarat as part of the “Somnath Swabhiman Parv – 1,000 Years of Unbroken Faith” celebrations.
According to a press release, the initiative marks 1,000 years since the historic attack on the Somnath temple and 75 years since its reconstruction. The temple plans to facilitate the participation of around 50 devotees from Srisailam, with arrangements to be made by the Devasthanam.
Applicants must submit their details and Aadhaar copy at the Public Relations Department by 5 p.m. on August 30 (Sunday). Only physically fit devotees without chronic health conditions should apply, the release said.
