Four-year-old girl missing from Bengaluru’s Fraser Town traced within hours, reunited with parents

A four-year-old girl who went missing from outside her house in Fraser Town in Bengaluru was traced and safely reunited with her parents following a swift police operation involving the Shivajinagar and Pulakeshinagar police.

The incident occurred on Wednesday when the daughter of a security guard residing near Farooq Masjid on Moore Road reportedly went missing while playing outside her house. Members of the public alerted the Namma-112 emergency helpline at around 1.55 p.m. seeking police assistance.

Namma-112 personnel immediately alerted ASI Rizwan Pasha and P.C. Rajashekhar, who were on duty with Hoysala-41 of Shivajinagar Police Station. The police reached the spot within six minutes. During the initial enquiry, the girl’s family told the police that an unidentified person had allegedly taken her away after luring her with the offer of chocolate. Her mother immediately searched the surrounding areas but could not find the child.
