Separated in Childhood, Reunited Decades Later as Sisters: 'I Just Broke Down in Tears'

A minor was allegedly gang-raped inside a private sleeper bus in Delhi-NCR after boarding at Pari Chowk in Greater Noida on August 4.

The driver and conductor allegedly assaulted her during the journey, threatened her life, and dropped her near Kashmiri Gate on Ring Road.

Following a complaint at Kashmiri Gate police station, CCTV footage assisted police in tracing the bus, leading to the arrest of both accused.

The incident has raised questions regarding ground-level enforcement of post-Nirbhaya transport safety protocols, as curtains obstructing interior visibility were still in place in violation of mandated norms.
