‘Jailer 2’: Why was Santhanam’s cameo removed from the Rajinikanth starrer?

Speculation is rife surrounding actor-comedian Santhanam's potential cameo in Rajinikanth's much-anticipated 'Jailer 2'.

Sources suggest a lengthy ten-day shoot for a festive birthday sequence involving Mithun Chakraborty’s character, yet it appears that his scenes were ultimately left on the cutting room floor due to runtime considerations.

While the filmmakers have remained tight-lipped on the matter, fans are buzzing about what comedic flair Santhanam might have added to the film.
