A 34-year-old man, identified as Ravi, was travelling on a two-wheeler near the Fire Station in the Magadi Road police station limits on Friday (August 28) when he suddenly experienced severe chest pain and stopped by the roadside.

Patrolling personnel Sachidanandamurthy, Assistant Sub-Inspector, and Basavaraju, Head Constable, from Hoysala-88 noticed Ravi in distress and immediately rushed to his aid. On assessing his condition, the personnel performed CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) without delay.

Their timely intervention helped revive Ravi and potentially saved his life. The prompt response by the Hoysala-88 personnel has been appreciated for their presence of mind and quick action in an emergency situation.

The Namma Hoysala team-112 has saved 450 people between January and August 11 this year, highlighting the critical role played by first responders in preventing deaths during moments of acute distress, officials said.
