Binance Employees Detained in UAE, Exchange Says Staff Were Cleared and Released

Two Binance employees were reportedly detained or questioned by UAE authorities in recent weeks during an investigation into financial activity linked to a Binance client account, The New York Times reported.

Binance said a small number of employees were asked to provide statements about third-party funding flows and were promptly cleared and released.

The exchange said the employees were not targets of the investigation and that it was cooperating with Dubai Police and other UAE authorities.
