In view of Vice-President C.P. Radhakrishnan’s visit to Aranmula to inaugurate the Uthruttathi regatta on August 30, the police have issued traffic guidelines for students appearing for the NEET examination at Aranmula Engineering College.

As per the guidelines, students appearing for the examination from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. can enter the campus from 7 a.m. There will be no traffic restrictions for students arriving at the college. Those leaving the college after the examination will also face no restrictions while travelling towards Pandalam and MC Road.

Students heading towards Pathanamthitta via Kozhenchery should take the Kidangannur–Vallana–Kozhippalam route, cross the Anjilimoottil Kadavu bridge and enter the Kozhenchery–Thiruvalla Road. They should then turn right and proceed towards Pathanamthitta via Kozhenchery.

Alternatively, students can reach the Aranmula–Pandalam Road from the college, turn left at Kidangannur and proceed towards Pathanamthitta via either Elanthoor or Elavumthitta.

Those travelling towards Chengannur should take the Kidangannur–Vallana route and proceed to Chengannur via Kozhippalam.

Traffic will be completely restricted at Aranmula Aikkara Junction and on the stretch between Aikkara Junction and Thekkemala Junction.
