Bharatiya Janata Party national spokespersons Guru Prakash Paswan and Dr Sudhanshu Trivedi addressed a press conference countering Rahul Gandhi's allegations regarding discrimination against the Dalit community.

Guru Prakash Paswan highlighted key achievements under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's tenure, noting representation for Dalits as Deputy Chief Ministers in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, along with Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal.

He argued that the Congress party historically used the Dalit community for political mileage, citing examples involving Dr B R Ambedkar and Babu Jagjivan Ram.

Dr Sudhanshu Trivedi reiterated that recent videos show no caste angle and alleged that Rahul Gandhi seeks to create divisions within Hindu society.

Trivedi cited historical instances of violence and discrimination during Congress rule and accused the party of prioritizing vote-bank politics over social justice.
