TORONTO, Aug.

18, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CIX Trading Inc. (“CIX”), Canada's next-generation alternative trading system (“ATS”), today announced that it has submitted a proposal to the Ontario Securities Commission to significantly expand trading hours on its CIX IntelligentCross ASPEN and ASPEN VERT marketplaces, ultimately introducing 23-hour, five-day-a-week trading for Canadian listed equities.
