Off Campus star Stephen Kalyn joins The Housemaid's Secret

The 28-year-old actor, who scored a breakout role in Amazon Prime Video's Off Campus adaptation, is taking another major step in his career after signing on for The Housemaid sequel.

He has joined an all star cast led by Sydney Sweeney, Kirsten Dunst and Paul Anthony Kay, with Brittany Snow and Michele Morrone also confirmed.

Kalyn rose to fame in Off Campus over the summer, playing love interest Dean Di Laurentis in the steamy series.

The show, which hit 36 million worldwide viewers for the streamer over its first 12 days, is based on Elle Kennedy's novels of the same name.

The Housemaid's Secret was announced earlier this year, as Rebecca Sonnenshine returns to pen the sequel.

The thrilling follow-up will see Sweeney return as Millie Calloway, a housekeeper who takes on a new job at the Garrick household.

Millie is strictly forbidden from ever seeing the woman of the house, Wendy Garrick (played by Dunst), but soon discovers a dark reality behind a locked door that threatens to unearth deep secrets.

Filmmaker Paul Feig is back in the director's chair, working from a screenplay penned by returning writer Rebecca Sonnenshine.

The escalating thriller franchise is adapted from the wildly popular, best-selling book series by author Freida McFadden. The project first took the literary world by storm on TikTok's "BookTok" platform before transitioning to the silver screen with The Housemaid.

That original blockbuster introduced film fans to Millie Calloway, a struggling young woman with a secret criminal past who takes a live-in maid position for an affluent couple - Nina (Amanda Seyfried) and Andrew Winchester (Brandon Sklenar). Millie quickly finds herself trapped in a dangerous game of manipulation, secrets, and psychological warfare hidden behind the wealthy pair's closed doors.

Fueled by a massive, dedicated global fanbase, the first film quickly transformed into an absolute box office juggernaut, raking in an astronomical $400 million worldwide against a modest $35 million budget and paving the way for this latest star-studded sequel.
