Fire crews had to extricate a passenger from a car after it lost control and slammed into a wall in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Five people were in the red Holden Astra when it lost control and collided with a wall on Market Street at about 3.45am.

The male driver and three others in the vehicle were not injured but one passenger, a woman in her 30s, was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with minor injuries.
