Fremantle Dockers star Luke Jackson's latest highlight reel melts hearts

Fremantle superstar Luke Jackson is used to producing plenty of viral moments on the field, but his off-field acts are proving to be just as special after stepping in to help a fan.

The Dockers have the weekend off ahead as they prepare for their qualifying final against Hawthorn next Thursday night after finishing the season atop the AFL ladder.

Tickets for the clash sold out within minutes, with a sellout crowd expected, and Jackson was spotted doing his part to ensure every Dockers fan can get there safely.

In a video posted by clothing brand Street X, Jackson can be seen stopping traffic before helping an elderly Dockers fan cross a busy road.

The video has gone viral with more than 45,000 likes and has been reposted more than 300 times, with comments flooded with praise for the All-Australian ruck.

“His Mum should be proud what beautiful human. Love your work Jacko, not all hero’s wear capes,” one user commented.

“Manners and kindness first and foremost. What a man! Also an amazing footballer,” another said.

“I knew there was a reason why we loved Luke so much,” another wrote. “Legend. What an awesome young man,” another concurred.

“The way he nominated for the ruck on the way over too 😍,” one joked.

It comes just days after Jackson earned his third All-Australian blazer, being named on the interchange bench after an outstanding season.

He was one of five Dockers to make the final team alongside Josh Treacy, Shai Bolton, Jordan Clark and Murphy Reid, which is a club record.

It marked just the fourth instance of a team supplying five players in an All-Australian side in a season since the 18-team era began in 2012.
