Kylie Minogue celebrates Can't Get You Out Of My Head

Pop star Kylie Minogue has shared a string of throwback photographs from her Can't Get You Out Of My Head music video to mark the song hitting over one billion streams on Spotify.

The Australian singer, 58, has surpassed the milestone on the streaming platform with the 2001 song which was the lead single for her eighth studio album Fever.

The track was released with an accompanying music video where Minogue appeared in a white hooded low-cut jumpsuit with bright red lipstick - a look which has since become one of her most famous.

To mark the occasion the singer shared a string of photographs from the wardrobe and glam tests ahead of the video.

She said: "La la la!!!!!! Can't Get You Out Of My Head makes the Spotify BILLIONS CLUB!!!!! Whaaaaaaat!!!?????

"Thank you to everyone all around the world who has streamed and sang and danced and loved!!!!

"Way before streaming, here I am doing wardrobe and glam tests in preparation for the video.

The carousel of photographs also includes snapshots of Minogue wearing a black sleeveless top with mesh panels on the chest and a matching fishnet arm cuff, black culottes and matching heels.

The look was part of the opening scene in the music video where the singer is 'driving' through a city.

It comes weeks after Minogue's duet on Madonna's song, Love Sensation, debuted at number eight on the Official Singles Chart, becoming Madonna's highest-charting UK song in 17 years and Minogue's 37th UK top 10.
