Callum and Jake Robinson: Jesús Gerardo, Irineo Francisco and Ángel Jesús jailed for 158 years, nine months

The three men convicted of murdering Perth brothers Jake and Callum Robinson and their American friend Jake Carter Rhoad have been sentenced to 158 years and nine months jail each.

Jesús Gerardo, known as “El Kekas”, Irineo Francisco and Ángel Jesús were previously convicted of aggravated homicide and related offences by a judge in the Mexican city of Ensenada last week.

The judge ruled the three Mexican men acted with premeditation when they shot dead the Australians near the coastal city of Ensenada on April 27, 2024.

The brothers and their friend were travelling though Mexico’s Baja California region on a surfing trip when they were killed.

Their bodies were discovered dumped in a well days later after they were reported missing.
