Youfoodz launches limited-edition meal, created by The Block’s Lisa and Rosco

Having a space in your home where it is big enough to cook up a storm and host a few hungry bellies is the best way to bring people together.

Creating warm and inviting spaces for the whole family and beyond to enjoy and now in collaboration with Youfoodz, they are bringing some home cooked goodness straight to your plates.

The collaboration comes off the back of a special cooking challenge that saw winners Lisa and Rosco satisfy not only the judges’ design preferences but also their tastebuds.

Swapping the tools for convenient and ready-made meals, Youfoodz has brought shoppers one of the biggest collaborations to date.

During The Block special cooking challenge, House 3 made up ‘Lando’s Meatballs & Chorizo Pasta’ that satisfied the hearts of Australia.

And after being put through their paces by celebrity chef Shane Delia, the pair won the challenge with their hearty combination of tender beef meatballs, smoky chorizo, parmesan and fusilli pasta in a rich tomato and capsicum ragù.

“Lando’s Meatballs & Chorizo Pasta is a really special one for us. It was inspired by our family, our son Lando, and the kind of hearty meal we loved enjoying after a real day on the tools,” Lisa and Rosco, The Block contestants, said.

“We had so much fun creating it for the Youfoodz challenge, so to now see it brought to life as a real Youfoodz meal is pretty surreal. We’re absolutely stoked that people around Australia can give it a try and get a little taste of our family and our time on The Block.”

The brief was simple: dish up something worthy of the Youfoodz name, a dish that brought the heartfulness and warmth that comes with a home cooked meal but backed with reliable convenience that you need in a microwave meal.

Lisa and Rosco from House 3 took out the win and named the dish after their son — Lando.

“Cooking under pressure is a bit like building on The Block – you’ve got a clock ticking, plenty of opinions flying around and you need to pull everything together when it counts,” said Shane Delia, celebrity chef and challenge judge.

“Lisa and Rosco’s Lando’s Meatballs & Chorizo Pasta really hit the brief. It’s packed with flavour, feels like the kind of meal you actually want to sit down to after a big day, and most importantly, it delivered when the pressure was on.”

In official partnership with The Block, Youfoodz is providing over 6,000 meals across fridges, microwaves and vans as they navigate the highs, lows and tight timelines of life on site.

Taking this partnership to the next level by giving their loyal fans and everyday Aussies around the globe the chance to get their hands on the Lando’s Meatballs & Chorizo Pasta.
