Hugh Jackman says attending Andy Lee and Bec Harding’s New York City wedding was ‘awesome’

Hugh Jackman cut a dapper figure at Andy Lee and Rebecca Harding’s star-studded New York wedding on Tuesday, for which he flew solo.

The 58-year-old Australian actor was among the VIP guests at the comedian and model’s nuptials at the Nine Orchard Hotel, with the couple reportedly saying “I do” between 5pm and 7pm.

Jackman attended the wedding without his girlfriend Sutton Foster, the theatre actress he’s been dating since his split from ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness.

The Greatest Showman star looked smart in a black tuxedo and bow tie as images obtained by The Daily Mail showed him laughing and mingling with guests.

After the ceremony, he was photographed leaving alone and fully engrossed in his phone.

It’s no surprise Jackman made an appearance, as he is good friends with Lee, with the pair co-owning Old Mates Pub — an Aussie-themed pub in the Big Apple.

Other high-profile investors include Hamish Blake, Eddy Buckingham, Nick Stone, Ash Barty, Pat Cummins, Patty Mills, and Mick Fanning.

The morning after the wedding, the newlyweds and their friends hit up their pub — which had a Just Married sign out the front — to continue the celebrations.

A video from The Daily Telegraph showed Jackman rocking up to the venue looking fresh in a brown polo shirt, trousers and a New York Yankees baseball cap.

When a reporter asked him how the night was, he responded with a peace sign and said “Awesome”.

Lee also stopped for waiting media, where he described the “amazing” moment he saw his new bride walk down the aisle.

A sunglass-clad Harding said she felt “great” and that she was “very happy” to be a newlywed.

As she headed inside the pub for a recovery brunch, Lee turned to the reporter and joked, “under the weather, guys”.

Also getting an invite to the wedding was American comedian Nikki Glaser, the host of this year’s Golden Globes, who stunned in a navy blue satin gown.
